About Me

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website. Many years ago when deciding on a path to take, I wanted to teach. My big decision at the time was if I was going to teach math or music. I went on to Augustana College in Rock Island, IL where I entered the Music Education program. While at Augustana, I took advantage of some photography classes offered, shooting film and developing my own work. I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Music Education. I taught High School Band for three years and Middle School band for seven years. In January of 2001, I resigned from teaching to stay home and raise our wonderful four children.

My passion for photography started when I was a young child and continues today. I jumped back into photography shooting sports in 2003. From there, things have snow-balled to capturing children, families, and high school seniors. Memory Catchers Photography LLC was born late in 2007. Since then, I have sports posters displayed in our Geneseo Culver's Restaurant as well as the halls of Geneseo High School.
